Honeysuckles are a sturdy group of native and Eurasia shrubs and vines. The flowers vary from white, pink, yellow and red. The fruits are small, fleshy berries, generally 1/8 to 1/4" in diameter. Most fruits are bright red to dark bluish-black in color. Honeysuckles are widely grown as ornamentals throughout the U.S. Birds and other wildlife eat the fruit.
